A wide variety of art and artists will be featured at the first annual "43 Artists Sale" on April 14-16. The show will take place at the Glass Works Foundry studio, 4302 Fremont Ave. N. Heidi Grieb is the founder and organizer of the event and Sara Light-Waller is the co-organizer.

"There are some really talented but unknown artists out there who are having trouble finding places to sell their work. We want to help promote them, as well as more established artists," says Light-Waller. This eclectic sale will run from noon-8 p.m. on Friday, April 14, and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Glass Works Foundry is a working glass studio that has been the site of previous art shows and sales. Some artists will be available at the sale to answer questions about their work. Grieb says that the show should be "a relaxed and comfortable environment where the public can find affordable and interesting art." Grieb and Light-Waller will both be showing some of their own artwork at the sale.
